What does blood contain when it travels through your vein?
I have a question and I need assistance. For the question, here are the answers.
A. CO2
B. oxygen + nutrients
C. CO2 + waste products
D. waste
please serve. thanks! =)
Answers:
C
it contains trace oxygen, it contains waste (such as uric acid - which is 'filtered' out by your kidneys) carbon dioxide, and nutrients - eg, glucose. Answer is probably c, though the grill is quite badly phrased, allowing for more estensive answers.
The correct answer is adjectives of the above
C Source(s): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vein http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venous_bloo…
IT CERTAINLY c BECAUSE:
Most veins get deoxygenated blood from the tissues back to the heart; exceptions are the pulmonary and umbilical veins, both of which carry oxygenated blood. Source(s): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veins
C
C because if the blood is running through your veins, it has be through your body and is travelling to your lungs.
In the chloride shift in your blood cells, CO2 is given out and this needs to overhaul out of your body through the lungs when you breathe out, and it gets to your lungs by the veins.
Waste products are also present, as with most things contained by the body, its hardly ever a single thing, and waste is produced surrounded by all types in all cell, which the body needs to expell.
