Which drug is stronger, xanex, ativan or klonapin?
Answers:
In terms of potency, xanax and clonopin are about the same and lorazepam is just about 1/2 as potent. However, these drugs have different absorption and elimination characteristics so their effects are slightly different. Typically, 0.5 mg of Xanax is going on for like 1 mg of Ativan. In the case of Klonopin, the half-life is much longer and the drug doesn't peak as hurriedly as the other two. So, you get less of a high from Klonopin and it concluding a lot longer. Also, Klonopin builds up blood levels in the body more than the other two and it's full effect may thieve as long as a week to reach. The other two tend to wear off after about 6-8 hours and nearby isn't any significant axccumulation in normal adults.
Xanex is the strongest, and it is addictive, next is Ativan, consequently Klonapin.
