Lymphocytes continuously circulate through the body using blood and lymph as transport. How does this work?

What is the importance of this recirculation behavior?

Ya the AP exam is going on as we speak....haha
it gets pumped through the blood stream newly like any other blood cell and then goes through the lymph system. within the lymph system it's gravity and valves that keep it moving. if it doesn't move then you enjoy problems with drainage/lymph accumulation (edema) which is unhealthy. plus if it doesn't jump through like normal, it won't get to the spleen to return with filtered out when lymphocytes die/act up or when other substances that need to be filtered out be credited with. Source(s): I paid attention to that chapter in physiology class...and i really hope that's not an exam question similar to that person said. If so, you should be ashamed.
