I set up an appointment wit a doc to shadow him. dint jump how do i correct this big mistake? he hate me!?

I wanted to go and shadow him, but i couldnt find a ride but i didnt call him to consent to him know that I wasnt coming anymore now he hates my guts. it was a friend of mine that introduced me to him and he kept recounting him and another person how irresponsible i was and that people similar to me cant make it in the medical world. should i just evacuate him alone and never do it again? or should i correct it? how do i correct it? do i just call him and apologize? and wait for a while to ask him if i could shadow him again? what do i make clear to him how do i kiss up to him?

I'll be personally honest, if I were that physician, I really wouldn't wish to hear from you again. If this physician take hes or her time seriously I would stay as far away as possible. I suggest that if it's a surgeon that you simply make yourself scarece so the surgeon forgets you as quickly as possible. The last entry you wanna do is to remind them of who you are so it's best to disappear as quickly and painlessly as possible.
