Compared to ibuprofen, does aspirin hold better or worse NSAID capability?
Compared to ibuprofen, does aspirin have better or worse NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory) capabilities? I don't really care in the region of pain, just how good of an anti-inflammatory aspirin is.
Answers:
Asprin has no NSAID capability as it is not an anti-inflammatory.
Aspirin works best if you rotate the two drugs resembling take ibuprofen, then aspirin, or tylenol then ibuprofen. Be painstaking not to take to much aspirin it thins the blood and if you cut yourself or go in for surgery you will bleed process worse than normal. Source(s): life
When doses of both are optimized, there's remarkably little if any difference. NSAID's like ibuprofen have supplanted high-dose aspirin therapy within the treatment of arthritis not because they're more effective but because they have a better side-effect profile. There's less GI upset/bleeding and the cinchonism that be once a problem with high-dose aspirin just isn't seen any more.
