Source(s): google
My God! Could you tell me what's exactly the doctor is treating?

Amitriptiline 20mg (!) a strong antidepressant. You must be closely monitored for at most minuscule 12 weeks, especially if you are under 24 years of age.

Adalat is in a class of drugs called calcium vessel blockers. Adalat is used to lower hypertension (high blood pressure) and to treat angina (chest pain).

Bentylol 10 mg - antispasmodic drug

tylenol 3 - another pain relief

Naproxen 250 mg - Temporary relief of minor ache and pains associated with the common cold, headache, toothache, muscular aches, backache, minor arthritis distress, pain of menstrual cramps, and reduction of fever.

Nystatin is an antifungal cream

Hydrocortisone is a steroid used as anti-inflammatory agent.

I hope that you are VERY closely monitored by the doctor. I don't know what you suffering from and need you all the best! It is a lot and there might be some verbs effects. Whatever happens - do not be affraid to talk to someone. You might get signals from others that your ways is changing. Mention that to your doctor immediately. The doses are huge, but you must trust your doctor - he knows what he is doing.
Yes, unless you have a cardiac condition, depression, arthritis, a hyperactive GI Tract, a candida skin infection, and contact dermatitis.

This regimen sounds more like the therapy given to a geriatric long-suffering, not a teenager. Source(s): I am a Pharmacist
It's a lot for a 16 year old, but you're not merely ANY 16 year old. Has anyone actually discussed what Reynolds Disease is with you? It's an autoimmune disease which wind up affecting your distal circulation (hands, feet). So if this is what you need for pain control, go next to it!
Good luck!

Lay bad on the Tylenol 3.
Take regular Tylenol.
It's much better for you.
That is way too much for someone your age,. I do belive that maybe you stipulation some of them but you need a second opinion at another doctor because that just sounds approaching alot. My 89 year old great grandmother does not take that much medication, so thats just crazy. And you utter your allergic to your braces? Do you mean braces in your mouth, if your allergic then why not acquire them removed?
i depends on what they are being used to treat....looks like skin problems? and some of deficiency and something else that cause pain
please tell us what you are being treated for and if its is helping

i would still say-so yes and no
it is strange that a 16 teen year old needs all of this but if its short permanent status i would just take them and maintain right commutation with your doctor for any thing that may be for a long term problem i would find a naturopathic doctor and see if in that are any alternative ways to treat

good luck
It's a lot but its less later others. Your doctor has your physical and mental health in mind when he prescribes medication, and he's doing what is best for you.
Yeah, I think it's a lot for a sixtenn year-old.
Hell ya. If those aren't prescribed then stop taking them and go to a doctor immediately.
