Who know around blood work and urine carrying out tests?
went to the Docs the other day for stomach/digestion issues & pain . they drew my blood and I pissed surrounded by a cup .. what exactly will they test me for? Before they did this the doctor diagnosed my mom a diabetic :( so I dont know if maybe he added additional test for me because of it?
I just wanna know if possibly my blood or urine will be testing to see that my levels are OK and not lacking/overloading too much on anything i.e. zinc ammonia magnesium etc.? or is this a different helpful of blood/urine test?

they do whats called a chematry profile ..this style they get what info they need..this way theres no guess work..if somethings atypical this way tey will know...then futher testing approaching a uper gi tract..or ultras sounds etc...
They aren't going to test you for diabetes. to do that, they tell you not to chomp through anything so many hours before the test. Then you turn in, have blood drawn... drink some nasty red stuff that tastes like melted ginger popcicle... wait an hour, then they draw more blood.
They'll probably do a Full Blood Count, which is where they count your red cells, white cell, platelets and other blood components such as proteins and vitamins to see if they're of a normal level. This is a standard medical test, and it's nil to be worried about.
Likewise, urinalysis (analysing your pee) is a standard test too. With that they'll check to see if there's any abnormal level of proteins being excreted in your urine, because any raised level could give better clues as to what's causing your stomach pain and digestion problems.
Don't verbs though, it's nothing to be worried about really. If something does come back elevated/lowered next they'll tell you and discuss what that means with you, and most promising treat you quite effectively.
