Could Yaz be affecting my antidepressant?
I have been on Cymbalta for about two months immediately and it has been working great, I am so much better than I was until that time. I recently started taking Yaz birth control pills, and I think they are causing my antidepressant to be smaller amount effective. Could that be? I have tried to take different kind of birth control in the past, but always stopped because they made me so moody and made me surface depressed. Well, now I am being treated for depression and again trying to take something that historically make me depressed. I really need to be on some sort of birth control, but I can''t continue to feel this agency.

Yes, Yaz or any bc pill can affect your anti-depressant. BC pills are known to trigger any kind of depression, anxiety and panic, so I would avoid them. When I be on the pill my anxiety was so bad that I couldn't leave the house. I get much better when I stopped taking the pill.
As much as it sucks, it's probably best that you give up on the pill all together. Your mental health is more impressive!
