Help on broad surgeon?
This stuff getting a little confusing now. Does a general surgeon do adjectives aspects of something or do they brake it down to different things? For example, does a General Surgeon cover all Breat, Colon, Gallbladder etc and thats what General Surgeon means or Does a General Surgeon mean something else and they newly sub-specialize in to these? I'm really confused so any help would really be appriciated!

General surgery- Cosmetic surgery, Trauma surgery, Colorectal surgery--traditionally defined as the specialty of surgery of the skin, endocrine glands, and abdomen (and, sometimes, the mammary glands). In some countries, it is still deem a prerequisite training prior to progression to training in certain subspecialties, but lately has evolved into its own subspecialty

Contrary to what the name suggests, general surgeons only accord with problems in the abdomen. So, that would be most of the organs surrounded by your digestive tract (oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, gallbladder, pancreas).They also deal with skin problems surrounded by the abdomen and hernias in that area. A few operate with breast surgery, but that's often an area on its own.
