My doctor (family doctor) said I need it cause my feet be cold when she was touching my feet to see how cold I get.

Sometimes PAD is an acronym for at a tangent arterial disease. If there is a vasculitis or any vasculopathy (inflammation of an artery, for example) it can really narrow the arteries which supply blood to your legs and feet.
