Radiologist take merely one or two years right?

i want to become a radiologist but i am so clueless about this career i would like to through in so i need help i do not know what classes i should steal? how many years is the program? and what do i need to get an associate level?
Answers:
A radiologist is a medical doctor who specializes within radiology.
An X-ray technician (or radiology tech) is an associate's degree program.
Talk to the career counselor at the community college where near is a program. He/she can guide you through the program requirements.
Nope. To be a radiologist, you must first finish hs, afterwards 4 years of college, get admitted into med school, that's 4 more years, consequently take a speciality in radiology. You can become an x-ray tech but that is far different than a radiologist. Source(s): dad and husband both mds
I'm gonna guess that you are in college. If you are in college this is what you would be looking at to become a radiologist:

1. Four years of undergrad, majoring in pre-med or science relateecstaticrs
2. Four years of medical school, becoming an M.D or DO
3. About 5 years of residency specializing in radiology

Hope this helped.
