Basically, you'd go with using a hammer when you hold screws to drive, because a hammer is a useful tool, is that it?
Prescription drugs support if you have a condition that requires them. And there are conditions that run in contrary direction which require different drugs. If you are hyperactive, no one would prescribe an anti depressor.
And if you do not have an infection, you should not take antibiotic, which is with the sole purpose teaching the normal bacteria one have (and that are presently in check) how to resist antibiotic and make them resistant, so that they can infect more later.
That is why in attendance are highly trained doctors around. If they prescribe something, take it. If they don't, stay away from drugs. It's that simple.
they are only considered good for you if your body needs them. otherwise, youd be bloodbath yourself.
Can you say overdose? Also since most drugs are synthetics and the human body isn't designed to do all right with them. That's why there are always side effect warning with every one of them. Just look at the labels on even over the counter drugs.
If you take a drug too normally your body will become imune to it and the bacteria and viruses will be able to gain access to your immune system and therefore you will get exstremely sick and not be able to use those anti-biotics or drugs again and will hold to find another drug to so that job.
Not to mention that if you are not sick why would you take medicine i.e. not require. wasting money, prescriptions and it is increadibly unhealthy to rely on drugs your body should be able to fight bad alot of the sicknesses itself.

Plus not to mention overdosing.

in conclusion just dont do it!
Most people over the age of about five are fit of more complex thought than that and understand that more is not always better.
I could go into beneficial index, monitoring for efficacy and toxicity, etc. All kinds of fancy science stuff to answer your question.
