What gross chemical could this enjoy be on the uniform of the nurse surrounded by the motherliness ward of the hospital?

During my short stay in the hospital to deliver my new daughter, my daughter and I were exposed to the most nauseating chemical and I really want to know what it could enjoy been.
The chemical smell seemed to be coming from a nurse who came into the hospital room. I presume it must have been coming from her uniform or shoes.
I don't know much about chemicals but the smell be like embalming fluid, I would guess.
She stood two meters away from the baby and I and I without delay felt ill from the smell and the baby in a jiffy cried when she came and didn't stop for at least an hour.
I'm concerned that the baby could enjoy been exposed to something harmful and want to know what the chemical could have be so that I can read up on it.

The time to have asked this was when you be on the maternity ward. Perhaps now you could call the nurse surrounded by charge and ask.
Maybe a nurse will answer your question soon and give you some idea.
