Have I taken an unintended overdose?
I have these tablets which are Ibuprofen 600mg - I think its 1 a day or 3 times a afternoon
anyway, I've had this killer headache and took 3 at once, and so in effect, thats 1800mg but I of late blacked out and I'm pretty spaced out right now, and I don't know what happened but I'm wondering if its the tablets?

omg yes you have.im on the same entity + others and the doc gave me tablets double of what i take,and my head be a beaster all heavy and dizzy,blacking out etc. got told i be nearly dead(if you think about it an overdose is what people do to destroy themselves)
so anywayz that's ALOT of med,i think you should phone the doctor or hospital as the blacking out and pretty spaced is not good,it prob the med messing with your organizer.
hopefully youv got help by now,save have got some.

but the hosp could pump your stomach?

According to my drug guide book an adult dose in one day should not exceed 3.2 grams or 3200 mg. I don't assume your black out was from the ibuprofen, however you should get checked out. If you dance to the ED make sure someone else drives you. Source(s): Springhouse Nurse's Drug Guide Book
