Okay let's think about this. The answer is within your question. 100 ml in an hour. There is 1000 ml in a Liter. 1000 ml (total volume) divided by 100 ml (amount deliver in 1 hour) = 10 hours. So add 10 hours onto your start time. 11 pm should be the answer. Double check it with your book, I would aversion to give you the wrong answer. Source(s): Clinical Calculations by Joyce L. Kee
Please tell me you are not going to actually interact next to patients.
It doesn't get any easier than this. Seriously.

1000 divided by 100. C'mon. My kids could do this when they were 9 years old.

Then donate 10 hours to 1 PM.

You need to get used to the metric system - it's all we use surrounded by medicine.
1000ml / (100ml/hr) = x hr
..cancel the ml and you are left near hr
x = 10 hours

Add 10 hours to your start time of 1PM and the next bag will be hung at 11PM. Source(s): Pharmacist
