Is it not detrimental to appropriate Prozac whilst man on Levothyroxine?

My doctor wants me to take Prozac for Depression/OCD but I am also taking Levothyroxine for an under-active thyroid. Does anyone know from personal experience if this is a good thought or not? My doctor seems a bit vague on the whole subject.

Your GP, wouldn't confer you both drugs if there were any known problems next to mixing the two.
Call your pharmacist and ask her/him. I would also call the doctor and tell him you want a definitive answer.
