I'm writing a book, and the main characters a drug addict who eventually suffers OD.
He drinks vodka, along with Tylenol PM and Hydrocodone,
he take 14,000mg of the pills altogether and drinks 2 1/2 cups of vodka.
How would he die?

A massive overdose of hydrocodone with alcohol, will cause shrink in the breathing rate. If it reaches a critical level the character will lose conscience and die from lack of oxygen.
