Burning isn't good either as the fumes aren't all destroyed, and waft upon the snake to somebody. Aggressive chemicals like sodium hypochlorite can take apart most drugs, but not all of them, and consequently what do ya do with the brew left over? The only cure seem to be "take your medicine!"
