My doc give me DIVALPROEX SODIUM EXTENDED RELEASE.Anybody uses it?

What does it actually do and is it good? Did u see any change?

I took it for in the region of 8 months and then tried it again 2 months ago. It was prescribed for a seizure disorder.The dosage be 500 mg 3 times a day. the first time I took it the only side effect that was notice was weight gain. the medication worked well. very soon this time it is being used with dilantin and it caused some anger problems so it be discontinued. It is also used to treat mania and to help prevent migraine headaches. polite luck and remember if this one is not working the best there are plenty of other options.
