I inevitability to settle to a stem cell research expert?
This is for an extremely important school website that this email interview would be for. It will be about 6 question, maybe 15 minutes of your time, and would be greatly appreciated. I have been turned down by 8 different groups including the NIH because I am not 18. If you enjoy some sort of credentials please email me and maybe answer one of the questions here: What has the Obama supervision done for Stem Cell research and how will the newly found money be used?

I can't answer your question as its not my field and I live within the UK anyway but you could try some different approaches.
How about contacting your local university's press office. They should be able to put you surrounded by touch with a researcher that has an interest in this nouns.
You could also talk to one of the charities lobbying for more stem cell research. They should be happy to help.
The problem is that you are asking roughly essentially political issues and scientists don't usually like going on the record about politically controversial issues. If you come at it from an angle that looks specifically at their work then most scientists will be more than happy to talk to you consequently maybe you can turn the interview in the direction you want.
You should also avoid asking questions where on earth the answers are already in the public domain such as the one asking what difference Obama has made.
I doubt you have be turned down simply because you are not 18. Its probably more to do with the sensitivity of the issue. You havent been asking questions beside a clear political bias have you? They will run a mile from that...
