Your nursing idiots---oops, I mean instructors---want you to put C, immediately from 3 different sites. It certainly makes no notable difference, as the only unfixed of any consequence determining true positive culture reports is the total volume of blood collected for culture, and one culture with a full ounce of blood in it would be at least as well-mannered as any other alternative. Of course, if you weren't in a hurry it would be a little better to wait for a hallucination spike, and whether to separate the 3 samples by time or site really is only going to matter after that, when that (probably, but you don't know for sure) false-positive Staph. epidermidis report shows up next week.
Since you're in a hurry here, what really matters is that you bring back a lot of blood quickly and then (after you've gotten your samples) get hold of your antibiotics started.
