Do ibuprofen or acetaminophen furnish hangover?
I usually avoid pain killers, but I've had profusely of homework and studying to do, so a couple days ago I popped two regular strength ibuprofen. My headache when away, but the next morning I had a headache again and later on that morning I took one extra strength tylenol. It helped (not as much as the ibuprofen), but again today I woke up with a headache that just won't turn away. Am I making it worse by taking painkillers?

Have a look at the box of your extra-strength Tylenol - this often contains caffeine and if you don't normally have profoundly of caffeine, this can lead to a headache/hangover the next morning. Best thing to do is drink plenty of fluid and bring pain killers if you need to but plain tylenol and ibuprofen are probably better than the extra-strength surrounded by your case. Taking pain killers won't clear things worse unless you take them for a long time, in which case some family get a headache after they stop using the pills.
Other general tips are make sure you are working surrounded by good light and maybe hold your eyes tested if you are getting a lot of headaches. However if you continue to rouse up with headaches, I would get checked out by a doctor. Source(s): Med student
