Anti Depressant counterweight gain?
Okay so I think I am going to be starting up on an AD drug soon and I hear that people gain weight over time from AD drugs. I hold been dieting since August and lost about 40 pounds so far and don't want all my work to shift to waste. Is this an actual side effect or it because depression subsides and you eat more due to happiness or what? I workout day after day and do a damn good job of making sure I don't gain any more weight and still requirement to lose about 20 more lbs. Will all my hard work stir to waste because this is an actual side effector this just because of people losing their will power to say-so no to bad foods because of the drug? Any help would be extremely appreciated, thank you.

Most types of anti-depresants work by exerting an effect on serotonin. Serotinin is contained by your brain, which is how they modify mood, but more than 90% of your serotinin is actually in your digestive tract, so the anti-depressants hold a major effect there.
If you eat like peas in a pod and exercise the same then you shouldn't notice cargo gain, but your gut is going to tell you that you still want to eat more.
