Ativan worth challenging Xanax....?
I am currently on 0.5mg of Ativan prn for anxiety... however I do not feel that it is working. I have been intuition more and more anxious and tense and have an MD appt tomorrow, I was basically curious if anyone had ever taken Xanax for anxiety and the results that they had from it. I am also on 5mg of Lexapro a day as in good health to help with the anxiety.

Hope--it's me again. I read your other postings and have followed your problems a bit. I cogitate I would advise seeking a marriage guidance counselor at your church. Years ago I went to a Methodist marital counselor for a different relationship and she gave me and the other person a series of questions to answer privately. Once she reviewed the answers, she give us some individual and then couple counseling. The result was that I ended the relationship base on the counseling and the advice. She pretty much said that the problems were not my fault but that she also did not see a fix base on the other person's answers. Confirmed what I thought or knew.
I am now in a trial marriage for 28 years and life is like one long date. Can't see in your mind`s eye having stayed with the old problems adjectives these years. And the proof is that I wasn't the problem in the earlier relationship. The fact is that some match are not going to work.
I am not suggesting that I know what your situation is, but I don't think you want to take anxiety medication the rest of your life to cope next to your marriage. Get some professional help. Listen to it and then perform on it. Maybe things will get better. Maybe they will get worse for a while. But when you look at the rest of your life, you must resolve what you want that to be and fight for it. RIght now I don't think you are seeing the forest because the trees are within the way.
Xanax is a major teen "get effed up pill" so if u know those who might pop them i wouldnt
But they do work VERY WELL. You will have a groggy feeling/slow and veryyyyyy disoreinted.
Have u tried klonopins? I would try those first :)
