Is it possible to get hold of addicted to panadol?

I got told it was ages ago... but yeah I dont know if its true or not.

There are 2 types of addiction.
Physical addiction is when you have physical renunciation symptoms when going without. Paracetamol (panadol) is not physically addictive. Examples of drugs that ar physically addictive are heroin, nicotine and alcohol.

Psychological addiction is craving a substance. You can get psychologically addicted to anything and it can be a quite strong addiction - so yes panadol can be addictive but it would depend on the party and they would have to be taking it often for a long priod of time. Source(s): I'm a doctor
