Answers:
18 + 4 (college) + 4 (medical school) + 3 (residency) = 29 years old if you go straight through.
After glorious school you obtain 4 year bachelors degree, preferably surrounded by a science like biology or chemistry. Then you go to medical school for 4 years. Then you specialize contained by pediatrics by doing a residency, 4 or more years. Oh yeah, one more thing. Better have a 3.85 GPA or better to bring into med school. A good one anyway.
Total 12 years if you go to conservatory non stop.
I start med school next fall and plan on specializing contained by neurology.
HAVE FUN!! Source(s): my noodle
4 years for your bachelors (including all pre-med requirements)
4 years of med school
Plus 3 years for pediatric post graduate residency

So fully trained and licensed pediatrician, at least possible 29 years old, if everything goes perfectly.
