Overdose on hydroco/apap 5-500 (substitute for vicodin 5-500 mg)?

I took 4 pills of the hydroco last night and 4 pills this evening.
Last night I get drowsing and fell asleep; right now, i'm having chest pains.
Last night be my first time taking these meds - i'm dealing with something traumatic right now.
So my question is : Is what I've done really negative?
My stomach is not very happy, and i have mild chest pains. :(
Answers:
i devise you just need to eat something. hydrocodone can produce you feel very naseuated. it wasn't really that harmful.
The chest pains are probably unrelatebeside yourselfhe generic vicodin use.

Ignoring the narcotic issue, vicodin also contains acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol. Overuse of acetaminophen can cause liver incapacitate.

A fraction of acetaminophen is changed into a cell toxic substance, since the liver is where the reaction mostly takes place explicitly where most of the damage occurs. The liver can detoxify a fixed amount, but doing so consumes its store of protective sulfhydryl compounds.

Once the sulfhydryl levels diminish too low, then cells draw from damaged.

Even normal doses of Acetaminophen, if taken for long enough can impose fatal liver damage. Bit by bit the liver is destroyed and the user does not notice a problem until too deferred. Alcohol increases acetaminophen toxicity.

People can get the wrong idea about what is a toxic acetaminophen dose when they look at a number (like 7 grams) and rebuff the liver's history of drug/alcohol/infections. Liver toxic drugs or infections generally work together to do greater harm than just count each factor alone

There is an antidote to acetaminophen toxicity but it has to be given early, similar to within 24 hours..

see the Merck Manual link on Acetaminophen poisoning:
