Is donating blood surrounded by a academy blood drive nontoxic!? [please answer]?
My school is having a blood drive in May, and I really want to donate blood because I know it really help people in need of it.. but im mode of scared, because i don't want to get sick with any infections (like..HIV, AIDS, Hepatitus..etc) or find out i hold some type of blood disease. i live in nyc btw.
they said that they're gonna take blood pressure, pulse, and all that..but are they gonna check my counterweight too? i'm on the heavy side, so, im a little annoyed that they might take my cargo..but, w/e..ill do it.
do you get like really shaky if you donate blood? is it safe? they say that all the materials used our sterile, verbs and new.. but could they just be saying that? i know most predictable, it is all safe, but its gonna be my first time donating blood, and i just dont want it to be something i regret doing..especially next to this SWINE FLU going around!! i live in nyc, and nyc HAS been infected with that flu already..is nearby any way ill get sick from donating blood?

Whenever any organization does a blood drive they open verbs packs of needles for every person every time. Otherwise, the federal government would outlaw this practice. They are not worried bout in your favour money to reuse a needle.
