It have to be signed for in all hospitals & in other medical services.It was commonly taken in the 70 s to treat anxiety, but there be many overdoses from it & serious problems trying to get people sour of it. Since they require a prescription they are controlled unambiguously, but in the legal sense of the definition most prescription drugs are not controlled substances unless they pose the risk of abuse or addiction which Valium does.
