General Practitioner Question?

How long do you have to study to become a General Practitioner? Like how long do I have to go to college for?
Answers:
Jaiddai - your forgetting about specialisation, not just do you own to go through medical school but around 8 years of specialisation too.

If your from the UK, email me and I'll explain how to do it.
In Canada it's 3-4 years for your undergraduate degree (usually 4, any discipline), 3-4 years for your undergraduate medical amount (usually 4, this is your M.D.), then at least 2 years in a own flesh and blood medicine residency (which isn't really school, it's on the job training). So, usually 10 years contained by total (6 academic, 2 clerkship, 2 residency (usually)). I think it's about indistinguishable in the US.
I found a chronicle of general practitioner resources that can help. http://www.generalpracticemedial.com

Hope it works out
the typical 4 years of undergrad and 4 years of med school
