Feeling sick after painkillers?

I broke my wrist yesterday (distal radial fracture or something).

I was given painkillers called tylenol #3 and percocet. I took them together (10 minutes before i found out that shouldn't be done) and presently feel a little sick and dizzy. I was out for dinner and newly had to come home because i felt really out of it, everyone was discussion and i didnt really feel 'threre'.

Now im just feeling a bit dizzy and sick, not such a pious feeling.

How long will this last? I had two of respectively pills. Will i be ok?

Im not having any more until tomorrow and i'll take one at a time.

I'm not familiar with the brand name you mention but I suspect they might be an opiate derivative the side effect of which can be a opinion of nausea, this is common and I wouldn't worry too much, you might even find yourself dozing off or, as you enunciate, feeling woozy. You might also have weird dreams but after a while you receive used to it.
If you find you are getting indigestion or mouth ulcers, tongue feeling like it have been scoured waking up with a dry mouth and throat, see your doctor and he might variation them to something else, in a lot of cases the side effects can be more uncomfortable than the productive problem, sorry about your wrist, hope it heals up quickly!
T3 & Percs are both narcotics. T3 contains Codeine, Percocet contains hydrocodone. Since you took both at the same time, you're have a slight overdose of narcotics in your system. It will subside. You may sleep like hell tonight (probably already are) and you may feel drowsy contained by the morning.

I suggest taking the T3s as they (I've found) are less addicting as the Percocet, and the T3s don't give you the high, but work in recent times as effectively. Source(s): ....I've done a myriad of perscribed pain killers... both legally and improperly.
Acetaminophen is used to relieve mild to moderate pain from headaches, muscle aches, menstrual period, colds and sore throats, toothaches, backaches, and reactions to vaccinations (shots), and to cut fever. Acetaminophen may also be used to relieve the pain of osteoarthritis (arthritis caused by the breakdown of the pool liner of the joints). Acetaminophen is in a class of medications called analgesics (pain relievers) and antipyretics (fever reducers). It works by shifting the way the body senses pain and by cooling the body.
Oxycodone is used to relieve moderate to severe pain. Oxycodone is within a class of medications called opiate (narcotic) analgesics. It works by changing the channel the brain and nervous system respond to pain.
Oxycodone is also available in combination next to acetaminophen (Endocet, Percocet, Roxicet, Tylox, others); aspirin (Endodan, Percodan, Roxiprin, others); and ibuprofen (Combunox). This monograph only includes information about the use of oxycodone alone. If you are taking an oxycodone combination product, be sure to read information about adjectives the ingredients in the product you are taking and ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
The most commonly reported effects of Oxycodone (generic name) Percocet (brand name) include constipation, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, lightheadedness, headache, dry mouth, anxiety, pruritus (itching), euphoria (subjectively pleasant feeling of well-being, marked by confidence and assurance) and diaphoresis (profuse perspiration). I also discern like this I am on Tramadol but, I have found I don't feel sick if I chomp through something at least ten minutes before I take them.
Hope this help.
You mildly overdosed yourself. The effects of feeling sick and out of it are from the opiates. That wasn't adequate acetaminophen to do any damage, as long as you don't keep on taking more than you should.

The best way to use strain medication is to take one pill, give it 30-45 minutes to work, and if it isn't doing the job, nick the second one. As your pain decreases, you'll find that you need the second one smaller amount often, and that the time between pills can lengthen. As soon as you are able, bring back off the opiates and switch to ibuprofen or acetaminophen. (Opiates are great at constipating you, and that can be worse than the broken wrist)

Hope you're feeling better soon.
firstly a DISCLAIMER, I'm not a doctor, dont bear this as follow to the letter medical advise

Congratulations you just took Acetaminophen (Tylenol), Codiene (opiate), and Oxycodone (another opiate) while this might construct some people high, your like me and it you only feel like a pile of dog crap. look at the bottles, they will have amounts of the meds, Add up the amount of Acetaminophen you took (it could be call Apap, for short) this is the Tylenol which does the most damage on your liver.

so if you took 2 Tylenol #3 pills and that the bottle says Apap 100mg/Codiene 30mg that means you took 200 mg of Tylenol and 60 mg of Codiene. As long as the Tylenol of the two products don't donate up to over 4000 mg, your liver will escape without major damage, if it is over it would be prudent to carry to the hospital, because over 4000mgs of Tylenol the liver gets damaged normally.

For me I other feel bad after Codiene bases opiates because i am allergic to Codiene. Drink some hose down to help your liver, and find a comfortable spot, But you need someone in your nearest and dearest or a neighbor someone to watch over you. If you start feeling really bad or suppose its prudent to get medical help do it, dont hesitate. Also share the person watching over to that if you pass out and they cant wake you, that they call for to call 911 right then.
