How do I dilute this pill?

I have a 500mg pill but can only take 5mg's. How would dilute the unbroken pill into a safe mixture and how much of that mixture would be equal to 5mg's?
Answers:
crush it to a fine powder.
mix it with 500ml of water, stir it capably to make sure it is equally spread out
extract 5ml of the solution.
I do hope you are not asking this to try to dilute an adult's dose of something to try to make a child's dose --- you can seriously harm a child by trying this. DO NOT DO IT.
Please, purely go to a pharmacy, there are lots open 24 hrs, and buy the proper tablets at the right dose for the right person needing it.
