Answers:
I believe both routes are equivalent contained by that they both require at least a year of calculus as prerequisites.

I would say on the schooling front that becoming a pharmacist or family physician is almost equivalent in difficulty.

Now post graduate training for physicians (i.e. residency) and day to day working is much more difficult for doctors than a pharmacist.
surely, becoming a devout pharmacist involves more mathematical and methodological approach.
Medicos use all type of mathematical approach which is used surrounded by social use.
Becoming a doctor requires lot of brain, hard work and patient while becoming a pharmacist requires use of utmost interpersonal skills, good command on medicine as well as dispensing skills along with brain, hard work and merciful .
Hence becoming becoming a pharmacist is as difficult as becoming a doctor. Source(s): personal experience. i too am a pharmacist.
