What is my doctor carrying out tests for?

I went to the doctor today with bad backbone pain and after checking my blood pressure and urine the doctor wants me to come back tommorow for a blood interview.
On the paper he gave me it says hes trialling for HCG, TOT, QN & CBC
Answers:
try typing those into a medicinal base website
HCG is a pregnancy hormone. CBC is a adjectives complete blood count (checks all the cells in your blood). TOT might be bilirubin (the breakdown the blood cells). I don't really know what QN could be though....

I reflect on he's just being safe and have the basic blood tests done. He's just trying to digit out what might me causing your pain. It doesn't look like anything specific though.
HCG is pregnancy, which maybe he is doing because of the back pain, possible positive preg oral exam in urine(if possible?)
TOT is for cholesterol
QN means every night contained by medical terms, so idk lol
cbc is complete blood

looks like hes just ruling things out to find a diagnosis. Source(s): pre nursing class
