Foriegn scientist and her invented?

Answers:
Take another look at your question. It say nothing. You have to tell us any name of the scientist or her invention. e.g. Marie Curie is a foreign scientist and she discovered radium.
Marie Curie was French, and discovered Radiation, and discovered how to isolate radium and polonium.
Not to disparage Marie Curie who won two Nobel Prizes, but Polonium and Radium were discoveries, not inventions.

My vote would go to Hedy Lamarr, a drop-dead beautiful picture star of the 1930-40s. Austrian by birth, she co-invented a secret communication system that manipulates radio frequencies that aided Allied transmissions in WWII. I believe it is the proof for part of our modern spread system of communications. The patent is under her tangible name, Hedwig Kiesler Markey.
Funky Barracuda- marie Curie was actually Polish and to be exact why she named Polonium after her native country.
