If I enjoy simply 2 years of work experience or volunteer work will Medical school adopt me?
I'm an older student (23) and about to do my A levels, but don't own much experience, what do you advice me to do?

That's easy..get a perfect win in your exams and you wont have a problem getting accepted to a medical academy. Its all about academic competition for a place and you will be competing beside the best and the brightest. Some medical schools require an undergraduate degree prior to entering medicine as a post graduate student..to do this you must excel surrounded by your undergrad degree (usually science based) that is you must achieve dignified distinctions for every course. Look at the websites of some universities for their entrance requirements and give them a call. I am sure they will be content to advise.
wow! actually just today, i applied to volunteer work surrounded by a hostpital near to my house. wow u said u have 2 yrz of voluneer experiecne!! i'd say its apposite enough..
as for the work experience i was told co-op is the killer... beside co-op you get a huge advantage over the students who havent done it.
doing co-op, working period could be from 4 months minimum up to a max full year. during this time you bring such valuable experiences which is unattainable even by doing volunteering or shadowing a doctor. in addition, co-op will contribute you a chance to truly get the feeling of your adjectives carrier to see what's it gonna be like and plus it will let you KNOW whether the haulier you are considering atually suits you ( AND that's what the med school interviewers want YOU to k realise) cuz you dont wanna do something for the rest of your life that you dislike.
i myself am 20 yrz old and only just finished the 2nd year undergrad (65 credits passed by the end of this summer) and im applying to do co-op for this upcomming spring and planning to do at least 2 periods (8 months).
it's true that by doing co-op it seem like you will be "behind" by 2 semesters but the reality is the opposite. you will come to appreciate it when your right of entry into med/dental school was easier and even more importantly you were hired sooner than usual after you graduate from dent/med school.
