Are unfurl MRI's accurate?

I went for an MRI of my cervical spine today (neck). I was in a motor accident almost three months ago, and the Dr. thinks I have herniated disc surrounded by my neck. I was very confident around the MRI until they put me in the tube. I freaked out and needed to come out of it right away and I refuse to go backbone in. What I want to know is if an open MRI is a accurate as a closed one? I just can not jump back in the damn machine :(
Answers:
no, they are not accurate, the magnetc corral strength is lower so less nuclei (in your body) are aligned with the pasture, this leads to a weaker signal.
open MRI is not as accurate.
