Saturated overweight contained by peanuts from a can?

I read in a book that saturated fat is the doomed to failure fat that comes from ANIMAL sources- bacon fat, butter, whole milk.....
So Im drinking a can of peanuts and I see it had 2 g of sat. fat per serving. Its not an animal source. Where is the butter coming from?

Saturated fats are usually much higher in animal sources, but they are surrounded by plant sources too. Especially nuts and avocados, which are the more fatty plant-foods. They have much more of the "good" unsaturated fats though, so overall they're pretty healthy. Source(s): Wikipedia, med university
