Getting "high" and getting "the giggles"?

Are there any neurological reasons that being large on drugs such as meth and pot make people laugh? I know that witnessing something funny released similar chemicals to one high, but I'm wondering if there's any other link... perhaps even associated near something other than chemicals or nerves entirely. I'm currently doing an extensive study on humor, so all references and details will be drastically much appreciated.

yes. More dopamine being released into the brain, its a naturally occuring chemical that controls mood.

with cannabis, we enjoy natural receptors in our brains that respond to chemicals called "cannabanoids" this also functions within a similar way, it's all how we're wired up mentally.

this is why theres the arguments about things similar to pot being illegal, because we're naturally DESIGNED to purloin it.

The receptors in the brain are given way more information than usual. It's tough to understand, doesn't make sense, and isn't that the reason for anything to be funny? The certainty that even if it really is true, it doesn't make a lick of sense?
