Can you bear echinasea near blood pressure medication?
Answers:
I wouldn't without asking the Doctor or Pharmacist firs, some drugs when mixed can lead to more damage than good.
Edit
I don't mean to nouns like a smart *** but medicine is made from herbs so if you combine them beside the high blood pressure pills you may cause yourself an over dose .
Check next to the doctor. There are several subspecies of the echinacea flower that have rather different compositions - some of them have be demonstrated to have catastrophic interactions with an enormous miscellany of drugs. Unfortunately these subspecies are mixed together and improperly labeled in most US-sold supplements.
Generally a very bleak idea, however if you're fixated on the idea, check with your pharmacist or doctor to see if your unique medication is broken down through Cytochrome P450 enzymes. If it is (and probably more than 95% of medicines are), then you should not be taking echinacea.
just stop taking the blood pressure meds and cut ur self but be sure to use a timer =)
I believe so. Echinasea is just an herb. It's not really even a drug. There's not even a child safekeeping cap on the bottle. I mean, ask your doctor... but I really don't think it would be a problem.
Yes I do it's just an immune system builder. But I only take it when I'm getting sick for a few days. If you transport it all the time it will have the opposite effect and lower your immune system.
Echinacea is just a herbal supplement. So you should be fine mixing it.
There should be no perilous interactions. Echinasea is just a herbal supplement.
