I have a toothache that has gotten worse over the past few days. I'm calling the dentist first piece in the morning but the pain is unbearable. I don't want to mix the two. But I want to pilfer the stronger one because the pain is becoming excruciating. These were prescribed to my mother a few months back when she have back problems. Orajel can only take me so far. Although, that stuff is pretty damn amazing. It's novacaine within a tube.

never heard of propoxy, but imo vicodin is stronger than darvocet. Fetches a higher price too. Try some OTC sucrettes.

That is generic for Vicodin, which is prescribed for moderate to moderately severe pain while Darvocet is prescribed for mild to moderate pain. You can purloin Vicodin every six hours as needed for pain, but do not drive while it is in your system.

Have you tried oil of cloves applied with a cotton swab to just the painful tooth?

You should get topical gel, too. Oralgel works well and almost immediate.

Oh I am sorry I did not see the Oralgel part of the pack. Maximum of 2 vicodin can be taken every four to six or so hours. . But absolutely no alcohol or anything else can be taken with it. It might make you a bit dizzy (and clearly sleepy). You're most likely have infected tooth--I hope you get it fixed soon. So highly sorry about what you are going through. (Been there.)
