Is 3.3 surrounded by the average reach for a thyroid function oral exam?
My dr says yes and won't put my thyroxine up but... the internet says it should be below 2?

If it is the TSH level which is usually what they report when talking tome then yes it's surrounded by the normal range as this is up to 4 or 5 anything above this is bad. As far as I know within aren't any hormones that should be under 2. I had a thyroid of 3.4 last time and that be in the normal range. The other point is T4 which is a low number if hypothyroid is a problem.

Generally, a typical range for TSH for adults is between 0.4 and 5.0 uIU/mL (equivalent to mIU/L), but values vary slightly among labs.
