Pharmacy give me someone else's information?
Just like any other girl in her 20s, I use birth control. I usually cross out the information and throw the box away when im done. But tonight i saw it was a sticker, which looked unusual to me. So i took the sticker with my info off and found another sticker! it had someone elses information, and i anticipate pretty much everything! I was shocked. I saw her doctor, her dosage, how many refills, and if it get in the wrong hands it could be scary! what should i do? I'm going to discuss to my mom about it, but has anyone else had this problem?

The pharmacy attempted to dispense your pack to another soul. The person never showed up or refused the prescription. It was placed pay for into stock. When that happens, you are suppose to remove the label or use a black permanent marketplace to cross off personal information. Someone did not do what he/she was supposed to do. Actually its fairly adjectives to find mistakes like this luckily you apparently take the same dosage and same brand of bc. presume of what happens to people who are on anti psychotic or heart meds and you get home and find some one elses meds. that happen to me .. now i check the bottles before i leave the pharmacy. i would cart the sticker and the container back to the pharmacy not only is a breach of privacy but could have be a danger to you .. It would take years in court to try and sue.
