First you need the snakes and not just any snakes. You need the poisonous ones(like rattlesnakes) & you have need of to know how to take care of them & handle them. This ability taking the snake out of it's container safely & "milking" it by manually extending it's fangs over a sterile container & expressing the venom using your hand.(Did I say without getting bitten?) Then you sell the toxin to certain companies, for not all of them deal near snake venom which is used to make Anti-venom to treat snake bite victims. Oh, yes...two other important things. You requirement to feed your snakes, rats preferably...frozen or live, and you need to keep some of the Anti-venom on foot ...for when you get bit. Better to be safe than sorry. Source(s): NJ RN
