I want to be a doctor, but dont assume I can make a contribution stitches or needles?

i love EVERYTHING about being a doctor, specifically a pediatrician, EXCEPT i honestly KNOW that i would not be able to confer someone stitches..maybe not needles either

is this a huge problem? should i choose a different career/degree to apply to?

thanks

If you don't similar to needles, you may want to become a medical technologist like an X-Ray tech. It's much more hands off and you still play a most important roll in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
You sound like you're thirteen years old and haven't a clue what pediatrics would be resembling. If that's the case, then I suspect by the time you're in your twenties, you'll be capable of do the lumbar punctures, suprapubic taps, and other routine needle sticks of the pediatrician without any trouble. There's no road to guess whether you'd be any good at the pediatrician's major function: dealing with irrational adults (parents).
A nurse could probably do that stuff for you, but you SHOULD know how to do it anyways.
