Is EMS(electrical muscle stimulation) unsafe?

as an alternate martial arts muscle training system i want to start EMC, as an alternitive workout program. but is it dangerous? is ther an age limit? is it possible to OD?
Answers:
ably, as far as i know, there is no side effects of EMS. the bit bout the pacemakers do not make sense to me as the pacemaker is implanted in the heart and EMS is generally done locally where solely a certain muscles group is targeted. the electrical pulse is too weak to travel all the passageway to the heart. before it even touched the heart, it will toast the nervous system first..but it do not..

EMS basically newly mimics the electrical signals send by our normal neurones to stimulate the muscles to contract..as far as muscle building goes, i enjoy not heard of an age limit or overdose..most EMS device have specific voltage that should not overdose..

a word of suggestion, just stick to the conventional way of muscle building...try weight exercise..EMS is still within its infant years..the long term side effects are not known..but your free to check it out..i have...
its usually a moment ago dangerous for people with pacemaker and the only danger in using it too much is a skin burn. for a young-looking healthy guy like you though, its quite useless. don't believe what they vote about its ability to build muscles.
