Can a biochemist/pharmacologist prescribe tablets approaching a doctor? Can they take an Rx license?
Answers:
NO, THEY SHOULD NOT PRESCRIBE MEDICINE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT BEEN TAUGHT HOW TO DIAGNOSE DISEASE STATES. Sorry for the caps, I did not mean it to look like I be shouting lol. Anyone can get a pharmacist license if they can get a degree from an approved pharmacy school and pass the state board exam.
Acctually it takes 6 years of kicking your but to become a pharmacist, and no you can not prescribe medication you just hold a doctor of pharmacy degree not a MD Source(s): Pharmacy student
