Why does pouring alcohol within wounds hurt?

Whats the element or something thats causing to say "OUCH!"

Your not suppose to pour alcohol on stretch out wounds. The pain is your body telling you that you should not do that. Alcohol will cause cell wrong, not just bacterial cells but human cells as capably.
