What job are available for physicians within the laboratory lacking doing research or have a Ph.D.?
Answers:
MDs who are clinical pathologists are needed to work in laboratories and interpret the results and oversee the everyday work and make sure it is accurate.
Clinical Path training is just two or three years after med academy. But you gotta pass the gruesome board exam.
Probably very few as you would be overqualified by degree and underqualified by training. If you are not doing research you are doing someone elses research or only just working as a technician. Why would you go through a rigorous undergrad program, then four rigorous years of medical school (then a residency, typically) to work contained by a lab as a technician?
