How long will it give somebody a lift for this to start working....?

i put some dxm in a bowl with h2o2 to try and oxidize it and have it turn into an opiate (i guess its a dumb view, but wats done is done. how long do you think i should wait to see if it worked? and anyone got any planning on how to see if it worked without drinking h2o2, lol

i also have a bowl with 3mgs of melatonin, 500mgs of MgO, and in the order of a quarter of a bowl full of water, i was hoping the melatonin wud undergo amide hydrolysis and turn into a hallucinogen, how long will it clutch for that to happen? cud i just wait until i smell vinegar?(im assuming that thats what give vinegar its smell)
